Hollande hopes a compromise can be reached between the UK and Europe

French President François Hollande said he hopes that a compromise can be reached in negotiations between the UK and Europe.

Hollande said he does not view the UK stance over the EU as blackmail and added that the UK's stance cannot prevent Europe from additional progress.
