Australia: ABS looking to introduce monthly CPI report

FXStreet (Bali) - The head of the Australian Bureau of Statistics, David Kalisch, is being quoted as saying that the ABS is looking at introducing monthly CPI releases instead of its currently quarterly reports.

Kalish said "would need to scrap other releases to pay for the move to monthly CPI", adding that "moving to monthly CPI reports would cost $A15m a year."
