Germany: ZEW Survey – Economic Sentiment rises more than expected in August

The German ZEW Survey – Economic Sentiment improved to 42 points in August, from 36.3 points in July, the Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung reported today. Market consensus pointed to less growth to 40 points.
