NZD/USD slides further below 0.7500

FXStreet (Córdoba) - NZD/USD is falling for the sixth day in a row, currently trading at fresh 30-month lows at 0.7466. The pair recovered ground earlier and climbed above 0.7500 but failed to hold and resumed the decline.

The US dollar remains strong across the board rising even against commodity currencies despite risk appetite.

NZD/USD near long term support

Price has approached 2012 lows that lie at the 0.7440/50 area. If it breaks below NZD/USD would be trading at the lowest since November 2011. Below the next support levels might lie at 0.7400 and 0.7360 (Nov 2011 low).

GBP/USD steady below 1.5000 – FXStreet

Valeria Bednarik, Chief Analyst at FXStreet, comments that technicals continue to favour the downside for GBP/USD, with the pair expected to drop towards 1.4920 and then 1.4860 levels on a break below the daily low at 1.4954.
