US Dollar Index pauses after recent rally

FXstreet.com (New York) - The US Dollar Index slid during Asian trading Thursday, after yesterdays lackluster GDP release in the United States.

Despite the US economy growing less than projected, the USD Index breached the 83.00 level earlier today, peaking in the 83.23 region. In addition, US markets also staged an additional recovery yesterday, notching a two-day rally. Presently the USD Index has settled at 83.20 in these moments, down -0.02% during the overnight session.
