NZD/USD tests 0.7700
FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The New Zealand dollar is trading lower today against its American counterpart and after extending its decline by more than 150 pips in the US session, the NZD/USD is testing the 0.7700, lowest since June 2012.
Currently the NZD/USD is 0.33% negative on the day. The short term perspective remains slightly bearish according to the FXstreet.com trend index in the 15-minute chart. Indicators such as MACD, CCI and Momentum are pointing to the south while the Stochastic is bullish.
NZD/USD bearish bias
NZD/USD has a bearish bias on the charts, with MA’s in negative territory, both shorter term and longer term. The pair is still trading below the pivot with resistance coming in below 0.7750. The channel will remain in tact so long as the pair does not close above 0.7885, topside of the descending channel.
